Nitish Reddy has received praise from all quarters for his maiden Test century. The 21-year-old was India’s standout performer with the bat in their first innings of the ongoing Boxing Day Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia in Melbourne, scoring 114 runs off 189 balls.
Tollywood star Pawan Kalyan was mighty impressed by the youngster’s heroics with the bat. The actor-turned-politician lauded Nitish for his splendid knock by penning down a heartfelt note.
Hoping that Nitish continues to achieve success at the highest level, Kalyan wrote on the microblogging platform X:
It is worth mentioning that according to a report by The Hindu, Visakhapatnam lad Nitish Reddy is set to receive a ₹25 lakh cash prize from the Andhra Cricket Association for his impressive performances in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu also praised Nitish Reddy for his stunning century in the Boxing Day Test against Australia. He wrote a message on X, congratulating the all-rounder on his maiden ton.
