    ADVERTORIAL
From Bodyline blows to Shane Warne's "ball of the century", and from Ian Botham's miracle of Headingley to Steve Waugh's last-ball ton at the SCG, Ashes Tests have delivered some of cricket's most iconic moments.
And 2025-26 will no doubt produce more of the same, as a new-look England test team, led by Ben Stokes, bring their audacious brand of "Bazball" to Australia for the first time. Lying in wait is the might of Pat Cummins' all-conquering Baggy Greens, who this summer dispatched the might of India in thrilling style to set up a World Test Championship final against South Africa.
Since 1882, when Australia first won in England – inspiring an obituary in The Sporting Times that decried the death of English cricket – the sport's most famous rivalry has had a unique hold on the public's imagination in both nations. And for fans, the first ball of next summer's series, in Perth November 21-25, can't come soon enough.
"There's already enormous interest around Australia and across the world, following the most recent, epic Ashes clash in England, which took the rivalry to a new level," says Joel Morrison, Executive General Manager, Events and Operations at Cricket Australia, referring to the 2-2 draw that was enough for Australia to retain the Ashes in 2023.
The Ashes are always eagerly anticipated, but this coming series has fans more fired up than ever. With Covid having disrupted the 2021-22 Ashes series in Australia, next summer will mark the first time in eight years that fans will get to get to watch Ashes cricket live, Down Under, in full stadiums, in front of two sets of passionate supporters. "Our current sales for travelling England fans are already 50 per cent higher than any previous Ashes series," Morrison adds. "There's a lot of pent-up demand."

If you want to be part of this summer's action, all-inclusive packages from the Cricket Australia Travel Office allow you to immerse yourself in the ultimate Ashes experience.
Offering preferential reserved seats, accommodation, exclusive official souvenir merchandise and access to official pre and post-Ashes functions featuring analysts and cricketing greats, these packages are not only bucket-list experiences – they're the only way to guarantee Ashes tickets before they go on sale to the general public in June.
The Cricket Australia Travel Office even allows you to tailor your own package. Choose from three nights (including two days of Test cricket), or five nights (including all five days of a Test), decide which seating locations you want, and select your accommodation from a wide range: covering everything from budget to deluxe.
The best part is choosing a venue. Maybe you want to be present for the first ever Ashes Test at Perth Stadium, November 21-25, or witness the inaugural pink ball Ashes Test at the Gabba, December 4–8.
Or perhaps you'd prefer to soak up the charm of the historic Adelaide Oval just before Christmas, December 17-21, or the roar of the Boxing Day crowd at the MCG, December 26-30. Though maybe you feel the only place to be is the glorious SCG for the series finale, January 4-8, 2026.
Of course, you don't have to limit yourself to one Test if you don't want to…
Packages are now on sale and selling fast, with prices for 2 day, 3 night packages starting at $1,100 and 5 day, 5 night packages starting at $1,850.
For more information and to start building your all-inclusive package, visit the Cricket Travel Office online, or call 1300 133 232.
