Zimbabwe and Afghanistan will face off in a one-off Test starting from October 20. Here’s where to watch the series live, including streaming and TV channels.
The one-off Test will be played at the Harare Sports Club between October 20 and 24, with match days starting at 10am local time. The series will be followed by three T20Is at the same venue on October 29, 31 and November 2.
Afghanistan’s tour will be the second in the country in less than a year. The last time they played three T20Is, three ODIs and a two-match Test series, winning them 2-1, 2-0 and 1-0 respectively.
Zimbabwe have handed Belgian-born Antum Naqvi a maiden call-up. Naqvi, who holds a pilot’s license, averages 67.75 in first-class cricket. Fast bowler Tinotenda Maposa is the other player to receive his maiden Test call-up.
Afghanistan, on the other hand, have included pacer Zia Ur Rahman Sharifi and spinners Sharafuddin Ashraf and Khalil Gurbaz for their strong domestic performances. Rashid Khan has been rested for the one-off Test but has been included in the T20I squad.
