Saturday ended with applause all around for Reddy, and the 21-year-old from Visakhapatnam will try to carry forward that confidence on Sunday, not just with bat but with the ball as well. If India can somehow bring the deficit down below 100 runs and deal a few early blows to the Aussie top-order, things could get very interesting.
The five-match series stands tied at 1-1, and in case ends up tied, the trophy will be retained by India. Pat Cummins’ men thus will try their best to come up trumps in Melbourne, failing which the Sydney Test will become a must-win one for them.
